Executive Officers

Our 12 Executive Officers make up the Executive Board. They are responsible for running all the different facets of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. They are also assisted by their individual committees.

President

Michelle McDaniel is the current President of the Delta Kappa chapter at Sam Houston State University. She is responsible for the chapter activities and members, as well as managing the executive officers. She plans the Chapter Retreat in the fall, and continually links our Alpha Chi chapter with the National Headquarters. Michelle is a Senior majoring in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations.

VP Chapter Relations and Standards

As VP CRSB, Brittany Litaker is responsible for promoting membership standards and responsible behavior of the chapter. This is accomplished through education, a positive points system, disciplinary action, and recognition of members' positive contributions to the chapter, campus, and community. Brittany is a Senior with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology.

As VP Finance, Laura Junek is responsible for the collection of member dues, the composition of executive officer budgets, and the payment of house bills. She works closely with the Alpha Chi Omega Financial Advisor and our Certified Public Accountant to ensure that the house and the girls remain in good standing, financially. Laura is Junior majoring in Criminal Justice and a minor in General Business.

VP Fraternity Relations

As VP Fraternal Relations, Sara Rider is responsible for the chapter's fraternal education, ritual and ceremony appreciation, philanthropy projects and fundraising. She also oversees the observance of Hera Day and McDowell Month and acts as a liaison between the chapter and alumnae. In the Spring, Sara is responsible for coordinating Hugs and Pampers (the chapter's annual philanthropic event). She plans activities in celebration of our chapter's founding date, and raises awareness for National Domestic Violence for the month of October.

As VP Education, Amy Coleman is responsible for welcoming the new members into Alpha Chi Omega, and helping them get acquainted with being a new sister of the bond. She plans the New Member Retreat in the Fall, and continually works with the current pledge class. She creates new programs that link new members and old members together. Amy is a Senior with a major in Education.

VP Intellectual Development

As VP Intellectual, Jen Mohler is responsible for keeping the chapter academically focused and motivated. She maintains the test files and study areas, coordinates study plans for members, and encourages the academic development of the chapter. She plans events that link the chapter to the University. Jen is a Sophomore double majoring in Banking and Finance with double minors in accounting and legal studies.

VP Communications

As VP Communications, Stephanie Elizondo is responsible for the communication within the chapter and between the chapter and our National Headquarters. She keeps the chapter members up-to-date with all events being planned and oversees inner chapter communication. She runs the chapter list serves, external website, and our members only site. Stephanie is a Sophomore with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Spanish.

VP Membership Development

As VP Membership Development, Megan Marinik is responsible for planning social events for the chapter. Megan plans our annual spring formal as well as many other social events in the fall for our members. Megan is undergoing graduate studies in mathematics.

VP Recruitment

As VP Recruitment, Erin Smith informs new members of the process and rules of recruitment. She works with her recruitment committee throughout the year for Spring and Fall recruitment. Erin is a Junior majoring in Psychology.

Panhellenic Delagate

As Panhellenic Delegate, Karon Crouch is responsible for acting as the liaison between Alpha Chi Omega and the Sam Houston State University's Panhellenic Counsel. Karon is a Sophomore majoring in Education.

Panhellenic Delagate

As Panhellenic Delegate Julia Six is responsible for acting as the liaison between Alpha Chi Omega and the Sam Houston State University's Panhellenic Counsel. Julia is a Sophomore majoring in Art-Photography.

VP Risk Management

As VP Risk Management, Blaire Rogers is responsible for maintaining and enforcing safety practices for the chapter members. She oversees chapter safety at all Alpha Chi Omega events as well as plans for speakers to educate the sorority in public safety. Blaire is a Senior majoring in Marketing.
